Q: How come I don't have to get numb for Lumineers?

A: Lumineers are made out of very thin and strong porcelain. Because they are thin there is no need to grind on your teeth and therefore you don't need to be numb.

Q: If they are thin, will they break?

Q: Will they feel bulky after I have them put on?

A: No. Because they are thin they don't feel bulky. They will feel a little different immediately after they are placed but within a few days it will feel natural.

Q: How many visits does it take for Lumineers to be placed?

A: It usually takes 2-3 easy visits. At the first visit, a mould of your teeth is made. At the second visit, the Lumineers are bonded to your teeth. Sometimes a 3rd visit is needed for final polishing.

Q: Who should get Lumineers?

A: Almost anyone is a candidate for Lumineers. Whether your teeth are dark, crooked or spaced, Lumineers can GREATLY improve your smile.
